Just Listen
In this week’s episode, Tony tried to rile Jill by telling her to “listen to the man.” What he meant is that we all should listen to our partners. Hear them out and take into consideration what they are trying to tell you.
He told listeners to remember that they themselves may be wrong in what they think, say, or do.
Meanwhile, Jill said to be open to learning from your partner.
They both have more suggestions:
- Understand the difference between listening and hearing
- Let your partner know when you’ve followed their advice
- Admit when you’re wrong
