Season 2/ Episode 39: Are You Working Out These Days?

In All Seriousness

Just Keep Moving

In this week’s podcast episode, Jill and Tony decided to be silly and debate whether there is a difference between exercising and working out.

Tony attempted to define the difference. Jill still did not understand.

Do you? Are you getting any exercise these days or do you just talk about it?

We exercise/workout six times a week doing cardio and weights. I usually say something like let’s exercise while Denis might say let’s workout. At the end of the session he might say, “Good workout.” I doubt, well . . . I know, Tony would not consider what we do a workout, but we keep moving! I think it’s keeping us alive. Hahaha. Other than that I don’t what there is to say. Isn’t it just semantics?

You exercise/ work out six times a week?! Wow! That’s impressive to both of us. Yes, you’re right. It’s just semantics. 😊

Well, that’s what we try for, and they are just 30-40 minute sessions–Do you like that word choice? Hahaha. On a day that we clean house or work in the yard we usually don’t exercise/workout. On those days I always take an Epson Salt bath and we always rest one day a week.

Yes, we do like the word “choice.” Hahaha! Your routine sounds great. Maybe we do that, too.
