Season 3/ Episode 2: What Will You Do First When or If Covid-19 Restrictions Are Ever Lifted?

In All Seriousness

Safety Is Always a Must

In this week’s podcast episode, Jill and Tony discuss the things they will do when or if Covid-19 restrictions are ever lifted.

They both said they miss hugging loved ones, but washing hands and giving people space are things they would continue to do.

Tony also came up with an idea for daters. Listen to the podcast to learn more about that.

The first thing for me will be to get my hair done! I’ve let it grow out and the color is what a friend calls “covid gray,” a popular pandemic look. Will we stick with it? I just might, but I think I want a few low lights to mitigate the effect. I am looking forward to a professional’s input. Denis says we’re going to our favorite restaurant that we reserve for celebrations.

I’m not a bar person (hahaha—I’m sure everyone knows that) or a big party person, but I do miss small gatherings where, as Jill says, we talk for hours. I agree that there will be a new normal. I wonder if we will tone down our cultural ritual of hugging. In Thailand and other Asian countries people practice the wai, a small bow with hands in a prayer like position. Now that we’ve stepped up our hand washing I agree it’s a good habit to maintain.

As far as those people you know that take cruises all over the world, I’m thinking that cruise ships are incubators for infections. My advice to them is that it was fun while it lasted. The new normal. Hahahaha.

We like your list of what you plan to do once it is safe to do so. You may be right about people here toning down the cultural ritual of hugging.
We also like your advice about cruises. 😉

      As always, thanks for commenting.
