Season 2/ Episode 29: Do You Tell Too Much?
In All Seriousness
You Don’t Need to Tell Everything
In this week’s episode, Jill and Tony debated how much is too much information when you reveal details about yourself or your relationship.
Tony continued to tell way too much in this episode, but he urged listeners to tell more than they are used to doing as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone. He said that quite often we don’t say enough about what we are truly thinking.
Jill called his advice “horrible.” She said that we all should maintain trust and betray a confidante.
They have other suggestions:
- Remember that trust is earned
- Don’t become a gossip
- Ask yourself what is the point of revealing someone else’s news or update
Are you or your partner guilty of revealing too much about yourself or your relationship? How did you handle that situation? Leave your answers in the comments section.

Yes, Jill will be famous, and I’ll say I knew her when.
Yes, Tony has a lovely voice.
If Jill thinks Tony tells too much, then Tony tells too much. After all he’s telling things she doesn’t want others to know. But good luck shutting him up. Denis doesn’t remember when I ask him not to mention certain things. I’ve also seen my brother let things out that would have been better left unsaid. Men?
I think it’s perfectly permissible not to own up to truths in a work of fiction. I mean don’t tell too much, right? Hahahaha.
Hahahha! This gave us a great laugh. How true about fiction! Tony still won’t admit he ever tells too much, but I think you may be ok to something with the whole “men” conclusion. Still don’t think I will be famous, but if I ever do, I will still cherish friends like you. 💕
